| (Code: M-SAMS6) | These instructions from the South African Meccano Models series describe the building of an excellent working model by Bill Steele of a Adams Radial Tank locomotive. Although built from Meccano parts this model has been enhanced with the addition of some 3-D printed parts. Alternative suggestions for modelling with Meccano, or easily obtainable materials are given
A 12 page booklet with full building instructions and full-colour, 3D VirtualMec drawings of every unit and assembly
Please note these Model Plans are designed by individual Meccano modellers and may use parts not currently available. The level of instruction detail is dependent on the original modeller and varies from plan to plan. These are instructions only.

| (Code: MCS09) | These instructions describe the construction of an electric locomotive of 1908 built to run on the Berne Loetcher Simplon Railway (BLS). Deisned to run on a gauge of 2-1/2" the model has twin Meccano Drive 6-speed Motor drive, one for each bogie.
12 pages including text, b/w photographs and parts list. The builder will require experience of Meccano model building from brief description and interpretation of photographs.

| (Code: MP201) | Based on the electric "Crocodile" or "Alligator" locomotive. Originally built for Swiss Federal Railways from 1919 to 1927, they were developed for pulling heavy goods trains on the steep tracks of the Gotthardbahn from Lucerne to Chiasso, including the Gotthard Tunnel. Crocodile locomotives were so called because of their long noses reminiscent of the snout of a crocodile.
This instruction plan describes the construction of a compact model to run on a Gauge 1 track which can be powered via either a third rail or an overhead catenary system. It was designed by the late Pierre Marais of Johannesburg and the plan has been produced in his memory. The wheels of the twin, articulated power bogies are driven via sprocket and chain from PDU motors, and detailed drawings of the sprung pantographs and catenary masts and rail are included.

| (Code: MP76) | These instructions describe the construction of this massive one inch to one foot scale model of a BR Standard locomotive and tender. Built with standard Meccano parts, with the exception of the motor. These instructions are comprehensive taking the builder step by step though the construction.
